TerMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions will take effect from 5th January, 2026.

Last updated August 2026.

our responsibilities

At Sydney Pole, we’re not just here to run classes — we’re here to take care of our community. You can expect us to:

  • Deliver what we promise. We’ll provide the classes, services, and experiences we advertise, subject to availability, and we’ll always aim to make sure they’re worth your time and energy.

  • Create a safe, inclusive space. We welcome people of all genders, ages, backgrounds, and bodies. Respect and safety are non-negotiables, and we’ll step in where appropriate if anyone makes the studio or anybody in it feel unsafe or unwelcome

  • Be upfront. If classes, conditions or services do change, we’ll do our best to give you plenty of notice.

  • Prioritise your wellbeing. While pole and aerials are challenging, our instructors are here to guide you safely. We’ll encourage progress, but will never push you to do something that feels unsafe.

  • Protect your privacy. Your personal information will be looked after in line with our Privacy Policy.

  • Take your rights seriously. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are respected, and if something goes wrong, we’ll deal with it fairly and quickly.

  • Keep improving. We’re constantly evolving our programs, facilities, and processes so you get the best possible experience.

your responsibilities

Sydney Pole is a shared space — for learning, growth, creativity, and community. To keep it safe and positive for everyone, we ask that you:

  • Look after yourself. Make sure you’re medically fit to participate, listen to your body, and stop if something doesn’t feel right. Attend only level appropriate classes.

  • Respect the instructors. They’re here to help you progress safely, so please follow their guidance during class.

  • Respect each other. Treat staff, fellow students, and the space with kindness. Sydney Pole is an inclusive community where people of all genders, bodies, and backgrounds are welcome. Always keep it respectful- read the room and be considerate of others.

  • Care for the studio. Use the equipment as intended, tidy up after yourself, and treat the space like it’s your own.

  • Protect others’ privacy. Don’t film or photograph other people without their permission and take care when filming with others in the room.

  • Manage your bookings. Stay on top of your own schedule, use your classes before they expire, and follow the cancellation policies so everyone gets a fair shot at attending.

  • Bring the right attitude. Come ready to learn, move, and be part of the community- we’ll handle the rest.

RISK WARNING

Pole and aerials are amazing, but they’re also physically demanding. As with any exercise, there’s always a chance of injury or worse. By joining our classes, you acknowledge these risks and choose to participate voluntarily. Please take care of yourself, listen to your body and our instructors, and check in with your doctor if you’re ever unsure.

All classes at Sydney Pole are for students 18+.

We can’t be held responsible for loss of property, injuries, or third-party issues, except where the law requires it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim, except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.

CLASS PACKS & MEMBERSHIPS

MEMBERSHIPS

When you join a membership, you’re committing to a set number of classes per week. Classes are released weekly with your payments and are designed to be used week-to-week- they do not stack up to use later.

For our Lite and Essential memberships, we do offer a generous 28 day window to catch-up classes for the occasions when life gets busy- these must be used within the existing 28-day class expiry period and do not roll over indefinitely.

A catch up window does not apply for our unlimited (Limitless) memberships- you just start fresh every week with as many classes as you like!

It’s up to you to keep track of your bookings, be on a suitable level membership and use your classes before they expire, as we are only able to extend expiration dates in exceptional circumstances and reserve the right to refuse to extend at all.

Work commitments, travel, busy schedules, substitute teachers or personal motivation are not considered exceptional circumstances.

Memberships keep rolling over automatically until you let us know you’d like to cancel. Your first payment comes out on the day you join, and then every week after that.

We reserve the right to adjust our membership pricing and conditions from time to time. If this happens, we’ll always give our community at least 30 days’ notice by email before the new pricing and/or conditions take effect.
